When it comes to cooking, are you a planner? Then I have good news for you! You can now search for recipes on EatingWell.com and save them to your very own recipe box with MyRecipes. And what’s more, you can sort and organize all those recipes into collections.
Have a tried-and-true favorite? Add it to “Keepers.” Come across some new recipes you want to try? Add them to “Want to Try.” Want to keep your breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack recipes in separate views? You can do that too. You can even create collections to plan your weekly menus or save your favorite high-protein recipes, chicken recipes, Mediterranean Diet recipes, etc.—you get to customize the collections just for you.
Simply go to MyRecipes and create an account. MyRecipes uses a password-less login, so you’ll get a code to use to sign in each time you log on (one less password to remember!). On each recipe page, just under the recipe author information, you’ll find the save button. Click it to save the recipe, and then you’ll get a pop-up where you can choose which collections to add the recipe to.
I love saving recipes for inspiration and am so excited about this new feature. Having only joined the EatingWell team back in June, I am constantly searching the website and getting more familiar with our massive collection of healthy recipes. Having a feature like MyRecipes allows me to save everything I want to try and keep track of everything I’ve already tried and want to make again. When I’m planning meals for the week, I can simply glance through all my saved recipes and plot them out instead of searching the site again trying to remember all the recipes that piqued my interest.
I’ve already saved our Cinnamon-Quinoa Breakfast Bowl to “Breakfast” and “Keepers.” And I’ve tagged our Piled-High Vegetable Pitas as a recipe I “Want to Try” and “Lunch.” Our Spaghetti Squash Nests with Sausage, Mushrooms & Tomatoes are in “Dinner” and “Want to Try.” Once I make them, I can move those recipes to “Keepers” because I’m sure I’ll want to make them again and again. I love being able to sort through the recipes on EatingWell.com and save them in collections that make sense to me and that I can adjust so easily.

We publish so many new recipes on EatingWell that I want to make at home. I love being able to organize them all in one place, so I remember to make them. Then I move our family’s favorites to my Weekly Rotation folder, which helps make our weekly dinner planning so much easier than it used to be.”
The new feature helps Associate Editor Dani DeAngelis organize her favorite recipes. She says, “I have recipes saved all over the place: on my Notes app, in my Instagram folders, on my computer and in screenshots on my phone. The MyRecipes button is a game-changer as it will allow me to save my favorite recipes all in one spot. I’ll no longer have to dig around for my favorite recipes right before prep time.”
MyRecipes is now available on EatingWell and Food & Wine, with more coming soon, including Martha Stewart, Real Simple, Better Homes & Gardens and Southern Living.
