Kate Middleton appears to be getting more involved in royal matters, especially concerning King Charles, after completing her cancer treatment.
The Princess of Wales, who announced early this month that she is “cancer free,” is now closely working with the monarch’s chief of staff and Queen Camilla to manage his upcoming engagements.
Cancer-stricken King Charles and his beloved daughter-in-law “talk for hours, and the king confides in Kate more than most, which is just heartwarming and beautiful for everyone to see,” per a source cited by In Touch Weekly.
The insider also revealed that Queen Camilla is also growing closer to the Princess of Wales as they relate to each other’s struggles amid the royal health crisis.
“Kate’s been joining forces with Camilla and His Majesty’s main chief of staff to ensure he has as much practical and emotional comfort during his own rehabilitation now more than ever,” the source told the outlet.
“Not a day goes by that Kate doesn’t check in on Charles with some type of gesture, whether it’s just a few words of comfort, a care package or supportive call if she’s too busy to see him in person,” with the insider adding that Kate and Charles “really are each other’s rocks.”
They continued, “It speaks volumes as far as Kate’s compassion and sheer dedication to family that she’s still thinking of others above herself.
“For the king, this is proof she’s the most magnificent queen-in-waiting the monarchy could possibly wish for.”
The monarch announced his cancer diagnosis in February 2024 and the next month Kate revealed her shock cancer news.
