Duchess Sophie, who’s being praised as the secret weapon of King Charles, seemed to be having the time of her life during her trip to Surrey as she celebrated local initiatives.
The 59-year-old royal’s recent trip’s details with her stunning pictures have been shared on the royal family’s social media accounts.
The Palace released the hardworking royal’s photos with a meaningful statement, highlighting her people-friendly activities.
“Earlier this week The Duchess of Edinburgh visited Surrey to celebrate local initiatives,” wrote the Palace.
It added: “At @halecommunitycentre, The Duchess met community groups, including pupils crafting lanterns for the Farnham Lantern Festival. HRH admired artwork by Creative Response, which supports the community, including Ukrainian refugees, through art workshops.
“At @manechancesanctuary, dedicated to rehabilitating abused and abandoned horses, The Duchess met @dofeuk student volunteers, helped groom and feed the horses, and dropped in on a games session with local older residents.
“Finally, at @parityfordisability, which supports people with multiple disabilities, The Duchess joined students for sensory activities, cake decorating, and even building a ‘Pasta Palace’.”
The Duchess, known for being a good sport, even had the opportunity to take part in the weighing of Shetland Ponies with young children from the local community. The mother-of-two also enjoyed meeting the animals and even got to feed one of the horses alongside students completing their Duke of Edinburgh awards.
