How is Water Samosa Made?
Vinod Modanwal, the man behind this innovation, has transformed the traditional samosa by adding water infused with special spices, creating a unique taste that has drawn visitors from far and wide. While chutney is typically serves alongside samosas, Vinod’s creation replaces it with this spiced water, which has become a hit, making his shop a popular breakfast spot.
In a conversation with Local18, Vinod explained that he uses a mixture of ginger and garlic paste, garam masala, ground green chilli, black pepper, and clove powder in the water. This blend enhances the taste of the water, setting his samosa apart.
His shop, famous for breakfasts, attracts not only locals but also visitors from nearby districts.
Despite having only studied up to Class 12, Vinod is earning thousands of rupees each month with the unique samosa recipe.
Vinod’s shop opens from 6:30am to 11:00pm, and he sells the ‘water samosa’ for Rs 20 per plate. Besides this, he also offers other snacks like dal mangodi, spinach pakora, and khasta gobi pakora.
