Meghan Trainor just got real about the downsides of getting Botox. During a new episode of her Workin’ On It podcast, the singer opened up about her cosmetic procedure regrets, revealing that she recently “got too much Botox” and can no longer smile now after getting the injections.
“I got too much Botox and I need help,” Meghan confessed while speaking with her brother and co-host, laughing. “I messed up. I’ve had Botox, like, a handful of times … just my forehead.”
She shared that she also got filler on her upper lip, which was a mistake. “Someone convinced me with my little lips that if you did a lip flip, you put filler right above your upper lip, that you could have a beautiful flip on your upper lip,” Trainor continued. “And I could have one for the first time in my whole 30 years of living—it was not true.”
The Grammy-winner then revealed the unexpected side effect she experienced from the procedures. “I cannot smile anymore,” she said before looking at the camera attempting to smile. “Look, this is as big as I can smile.” Trainor added that even when she tries to smile, her face “hurts.”
Trainor proceeded to hold up a photo of her posing with a dog during a visit to an animal shelter, explaining: “I don’t look happy. I look like I smelled someone’s fart … somebody help me!”
In light of her Botox mishap, Trainor—who is a mom to sons Riley, 3, and 17-month-old Barry with her husband, Daryl Sabara—isn’t ruling out all plastic surgery. Elsewhere on the podcast, she announced her plans to get a boob job after having two kids. explaining: “Because my mommy boobies were full of milk and now they’re empty and then full of milk and now they’re empty. They got big, they got small, they got big, they got small.”
She added, “I’ve lost some weight and I have sags on, just like saggy sacks as boobs.”
