Davina McCall, Television presenter, recently stepped out and made her first public appearance after her painful brain surgery which left her exhausted mentally.
The 57-year-old former Big Brother host delivered very emotional speech which left everyone there weeping, as part of her work with the Brain Tumour Research Campaign.
Davina expressed: “I’m crying already, that didn’t go well. I know lots of you here are on your own brain tumour journey and many of you have lost loved ones to a brain tumour.”
“I lost my sister to a brain tumour in 2012 and my ex-father-in-law a year ago.”
However, earlier her sister Caroline was heartbreakingly passed away at the age of 50 after fightinhg with lung and bone cancer as well as two brain tumours.
The TV star opened up about the pain as she described losing her sister as “the worst moment of my life” acknowledging deep pain and heartbreak of that loss of her family.
Davina went on praising her neurosurgeon Kevin O’Neill and said: “Hi, I thought I’d do a little catch-up post, and I’m going to out my surgeon. He is called Kevin O’Neill and he has been amazing.”
