PV Sindhu formally exchanged rings with her longterm boyfriend, Venkata Datta Sai. The couple got engaged in a romantic and intimate ceremony.
Ace badminton player PV Sindhu will be tying the knot with her long-term tech executive boyfriend Venkata Datta Sai in Udaipur this month. Ahead of their big day, the couple officially exchanged rings in a romantic and intimate ceremony. Sindhu took to her social media to share images from her engagement ceremony.
Taking to her Instagram, PV Sindhu shared an image with her boyfriend Venkata Datta Sai. A romantic décor in soft hues of purple decked the stage. The banner behind her read “Miss to Mrs.” The couple looked oh-so-in-love as they exchanged rings. She wrote, “When love beckons to you, follow him, for love gives naught but itself. – Kahlil Gibran 2024- infinity emoji.” While Datta Sai exuded comfort in casuals, Sindhu looked stunning in a blue full-sleeved dress.
Take a look at the pictures here.
Sindhu opted for a muted metallic blue full-sleeved dress for her engagement ceremony. The demure dress was a perfect pick for the occasion as it exuded chic classic charm with a feminine allure. The full-sleeved dress came with a classic V-neck which later flared into a long skirt from the waist onwards. The dress had pleated details all over and it came with a shimmery metallic finish. The bride-to-be left her hair open and styled them in waves. She kept the accessories to a minimum and opted for just a classic watch and a chic pair of earrings.
Her engagement outfit was a stark contrast from the maximalist looks that she has been donning at weddings recently. She was spotted at Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya’s wedding last week where she made a playful statement in a fuchsia pink lehenga set by Mrunalini Rao. The lehenga set was adorned with exquisite multi-coloured resham thread work. It also featured intricately embossed paisley and floral motifs which was further enhanced by delicate kasab embroidery and luxurious zardozi embellishments.
As per reports, Sindhu will tie the knot on December 22 in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
