Prince Harry was hit with a massive setback after his father King Charles made an unexpected decision.
Notably, the Duke of Sussex spent Christmas with Meghan Markle and their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in Montecito.
However, a royal expert believes it must be a solitary festival for the Duke of Sussex as he used to see huge celebrations at Sandringham with the royal family.
In conversation with The Mirror, royal author Ingrid Seward said that Harry used to view “Christmas at Sandringham as the golden ticket.”
“The present opening on Christmas Eve with his extended family and then church and traditional Christmas lunch the next day. Then the Boxing Day pheasant shoot and in between loads of party games and drinking,” she shared the royal family’s traditions.
But, it has been said that the former working royal was only joined by Meghan’s mother, Doria, for the low-key get-together in California.
Ingrid stated that the King, who would very much like to reunite with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, did not send Christmas invitations to the Sussex family to avoid creating any awkwardness for the other royal family members.
