In 2024, we heard about the rise of warm minimalism, and in 2025, we expect that to continue.
“Instead of stark white and cold spaces, we’ll see softer neutrals, natural materials like stone and wood, and subtle layering to create a more inviting feel,” says Danielle Chiprut, founder and principal designer at Danielle Rose Design Co.
Lauren Ashley, founder and CEO at Lauren Ashley Experiences, is moving away from the color gray, which according to her has had its moment and now it’s time to move on.
Instead, she’s looking to comforting and cozy moody colors, like Benjamin Moore’s Cinnamon Slate, Bewitched, and Meditation, and doing more limewashing with tan and clay colors.
“This a cost-effective way to give the wall added texture and it adds character to the space,” Ashley says.
