As one of the world’s greatest sprinters, American track and field athlete Sha’Carri Richardson, 24, had a stellar 2024. She defended her title in the women’s 100m at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and brought home silver and gold medals at the Paris Olympics. In 2025, she’s taking her influence off the track with the launch of her own hair brand, Flow&Go Hair Extensions. And to celebrate the new venture, she’s partnering with Depop and Cash App to give other small business owners an opportunity to grow. They’ll get the chance to win $100 to invest in their own shops when they use Cash App’s direct deposit feature for earnings.
A Depop user herself, Richardson sees firsthand the level of determination it takes to grow a small business on the platform. “As an athlete, this level of dedication is something I can relate to,” she explains. “I’ve learned so many new tips from each seller on how to brand, market, and position a small business.”
When she’s not developing her business or training, Richardson prioritizes self-care by cooking, spending time with her family and boyfriend, and catching up on TV shows. “It’s important to me to take care of my body and mind on my days off so I’m fully rejuvenated,” she says. She shares some of her favorite products for achieving just that with PS ahead — from her favorite face cleanser to the fitness tracker that she uses to keep her biometrics in check.
