Manu Bhaker’s Faridabad house is a beautiful blend of minimalist design elevated by personalized accents.
Olympic medal-winning shooter Manu Bhaker recently got selected to be awarded the prestigious Khel Ratna. As the sports icon gears up to add another feather to her cap, she recently appeared on the latest episode of Asian Paints’ Where The Heart Is. She gave the viewers a glimpse into her parents’ home in Faridabad. The luxurious house was a blend of minimalism with meaningful design.
With roots in Haryana’s Goria village, Manu Bhaker is close to her parents. She revealed her cherished memories of growing up with her mother and brother while her father worked at sea in the merchant navy. She said, “I have come a long way, and I’ve realized that it’s not just the athlete who wins a medal for the country, but the entire family that makes sacrifices to make it possible. This house is my way of honouring their love and support.”
The living room in Manu Bhaker’s house is a cozy spot that offers a lot of natural lighting which makes the space feel more luxurious and welcoming. She added an accent to her walls by opting for a striking wallpaper that was adorned with motifs of cows and trees. The living room also includes another striking element – a wooden deer wall-accent piece. Decked in hues of beige, white, and yellow, the living room is spacious and has been decorated with a beige couch, brown centre table, white shelves, and a white storage unit, along with a state-of-the-art television. The living room opens into the balcony which has been decorated with potted plants.
A corner of the home proudly displays Manu’s sporting achievements, including a selection from her vast collection of medals. Additionally, Manu’s bedroom also is decked in pastel hues which proves how much she loves muted and subtle colours in her living space. The room comes with calm green tones and a unique hand-painted doodle wall. This addition shows how personalized touches can add an element of warmth to a space. The space exudes a calm vibe as warm natural lighting lights up the space.
Manu’s beautifully curated home shows how pastel colours can be beautifully blended to create a sophisticated living space.
