Fitness trainer Chirstiana Mikesch decoded Blake Lively’s diet and workout routine.
Blake Lively, 37, mother of four, looks much younger than her years. The actress is well-known for her strict fitness regime and balanced diet. She has often grabbed attention with glimpses of her challenging workouts alongside her personal trainer, Don Saladino. For the uninitiated, Saladino has been training both the Gossip Girl star and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for over 13 years. Now, fitness trainer Christiana Mikesch has decoded the diet and fitness regime that helps the Green Lantern star stay in shape, sharing a detailed routine based on the same.
In a recent report on Totalshape.com, Christiana Mikesch revealed the secret behind Blake Lively’s ageless looks. She disclosed what keeps the mother-of-four in such great shape, based on multiple interviews with the actress. From avoiding processed food to her workout routine, the fitness trainer also shared how Blake maintains her stunning physique.
Christiana revealed the importance of Blake’s fitness routine in maintaining her toned figure and strong physique. The fitness trainer shared that the actress works out four to five days a week. The It Ends with Us star incorporates a variety of exercises into her regime, including cardio, functional exercises, and strength training on some days.
The actress performs multiple exercises such as squats, butterfly steps, and cardio daily at the gym. Butterfly steps help improve flexibility in the hips, thighs, and lower back, while squats enhance bone health, posture, blood circulation, and concentration. However, it is Blake’s consistency in her workouts that plays a key role in keeping her in shape.
Additionally, based on Blake’s fitness routine, Christiana suggested a detailed 7-day regime that can help anyone stay youthful and healthy.
- Monday: Begin the week with exercises targeting various muscle groups after a long rest. These include squats, bicep curls, and shoulder presses.
- Tuesday: Christiana advises focusing on the legs and core with exercises such as butterfly steps, diagonal walks, and lifted heel squats.
- Wednesday: The fitness trainer recommends either incorporating cardio exercises or taking a rest day.
- Thursday: Repeat the exercises from Monday, while placing extra emphasis on the abs.
- Friday to Sunday: The weekend is dedicated to resting the muscles and allowing the body to recover.
Christiana also revealed the role of supplements in Blake’s healthy lifestyle. The fitness trainer shared that Blake starts her day with a glass of water, followed by a wholesome breakfast consisting of eggs cooked in coconut oil, along with veggies and fruit. For lunch, she enjoys a balanced meal of proteins, vegetables, and carbohydrates, all of which are essential for the body. She also loves to include wild-caught fish or pasture-raised chicken with a salad, and either sweet potatoes or rice.
For dinner, Blake prefers lighter meals. Importantly, her diet excludes processed foods, such as sugar and wheat, and she focuses on consuming organic, healthy foods. Interestingly, the Untitled A Simple Favor sequel star also includes healthy fats in her diet, such as grass-fed butter and avocado.
To further support her body, Christiana noted that Blake takes supplements, including magnesium, omega-3, a multivitamin, and probiotics.
