Starting the first Monday of 2025 on a global stage was none other than fashion designer turned producer Manish Malhotra. The globally acclaimed designer graced the blooming red carpet of the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, looking dapper in a tuxedo.
“My first-time @goldenglobes and what an incredible evening,” expressed an elated Manish Malhotra on his Instagram post. Manish also shared a series of images from the red carpet. While Manish is known for having the best talent in the world of global and Indian cinema to celebrate his opulent designs, as an individual Manish always tries to keep this look minimal and monochromatic.
For his Golden Globes debut, Manish opted for his favourite shade of black with a hint of white. Give it to Manish to give a classic tuxedo a Manish Malhotra twist. The blazer featured a shawl lapel and abstract pattern in a classic shade of white. Manish Malhotra’s Stage5 production aims to create cinematic experiences that are gripping and thought narrative. Bun Tikki is about Sanu, a child learning to navigate the challenges of identity and belonging as he struggles to fit into society’s norms and build a loving relationship with his father. Meanwhile, his grandmother, harboring secrets of her own, teaches him to embrace his uniqueness. The film is set to screen at the festival between January 6 and January 8 at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
