Among the many beauty looks on the Golden Globes 2025 red carpet, the Old Hollywood bob was the biggest winner of the night—literally. Leading the pack were two of the evening’s star nominees, Selena Gomez and Zendaya, who both opted for chin-length haircuts with voluminous curls and bounce.
Gomez was styled by Renato Campora, while Coree Moreno worked with Zendaya. To get those perfect soft waves, both hairstylists used the GHD Curve Classic Curl Iron.
In a press release, Morena revealed that he first used hair rollers on Zendaya’s hair before setting the shape with the Helios Hair Dryer, then touching up the curls with the Curve Classic Curl Iron. To get long-lasting and voluminous curls, he added prestyled Bellami Silk Seam Clip-In Extensions and finished off with the Nexxus Epic Shine Anti Humidity Spray and Nexxus Comb Thru Flexible Hold Hair Spray.
For extra oomph, Campora added Great Lengths Essenza and Aria Tape-In Extensions to Gomez’s hair. Campora opted to use tools only, first creating a blowout with the Helios Hair Dryer, then dividing the hair into one-inch sections and curling with a combination of the Curve Classic Curl Iron and Curve Soft Curl Iron, pinning the curls as he went along. To soften, he brushed the waves out for a final touch.
An honorable mention also goes out to Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson, who wore an Old Hollywood pixie. Hairstylist Alexander Armand used Camille Rose Naturals Edge Control Strengthening & Smoothing Gel, and Spiked Honey Mousse for her screen-siren waves.
