Kangana Ranaut turned heads in a stunning purple saree with intricate embroidery at the Emergency screening in Nagpur, effortlessly combining elegance with tradition.
Kangana Ranaut stunned in a regal purple saree for the screening of her upcoming film Emergency in Nagpur, where she was joined by the Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, and his family. The event marked an important moment ahead of the film’s release, and Kangana took to Instagram to share her look, captioning the post, “Today in Nagpur for the screening of #emergency for Honourable @gadkari.nitin ji and family 🙏.”
Kangana’s saree, designed by Mumbai-based label Jigya Patel, featured a rich purple silk fabric adorned with intricate gold, pink, and maroon brocade embroidery. The saree’s broad borders were embellished with mochhi work, floral motifs, mirror work, and gold sequin tassels, bringing a touch of elegance and grandeur to the ensemble. The detailed pallu, with its tassel work and sequin accents, further elevated the luxurious feel of the outfit.
To complement the look, Kangana styled her hair in a sleek, center-parted bun and opted for silver statement earrings and a pink embroidered potli bag. She kept her makeup understated with soft pink eye shadow, mascara, light pink lips, and a delicate bindi, allowing the saree to take center stage.
Emergency, Kangana’s debut solo directorial project, is set for a theatrical release on January 17. In the film, she portrays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, with an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, and Milind Soman, among others.
