Melania Trump opted for a silk wool coat and skirt with an ivory blouse for the Inauguration Day.
On the Inauguration Day, all eyes were on the First Lady – Melania Trump. Melania turned heads in a chic and classic outfit which she took a notch higher by opting for a dramatic headgear.
Melania Trump opted for an Adam Lippes number as she walked alongside Donald Trump as he became the 47th president of the United States of America. The First Lady opted for a silk wool coat which she had paired with a high-neck ivory blouse. She paired the dress with a matching boater hat by Eric Javits. Previously, she wore Ralph Lauren during her first Inauguration Day. But this time, she went with New York-based designer Adam Lippes. In a statement, Lippes said that the look was hand-stitched in New York by some of the finest craftsmen of America.
FLOTUS Melania Trump did NOT come to play today. She’s matching her husband in solidarity, wearing custom American designers, and looking like she means business. I love this for her. 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/MbDTUkZgiF— Lily* (@300mirrors) January 20, 2025
The hat has become one of the most discussed fashion accessories on the internet after she debuted her look. The brim of the hat was wide enough and the contrast between the cream ribbon and navy hat made a classic statement.
Melania completed her look with a pair of dark blue Manolo Blahnik suede pumps and a pair of black leather gloves which complemented Donald’s navy coat. She tied her hair up in a neat bun and was a vision to behold. Styled by Herve Pierre, Melania exuded an air of mystery with her buttoned coat, high-neck blouse, and wide hat.
Later, she made a statement as she ditched this dress for an ivory strapless gown. She changed into the ivory number as she took centre stage with Donald Trump. The dress came with a slit skirt, ruffled accent trim, and a slim red ribbon around the waist.
