Recently, she grabbed the audience’s attention with her unique Chain Gown outfit at renowned designer Gaurav Gupta’s Couture Spring/Summer 2025 show, where he was presenting his collection, Across the Flame, at Paris Couture Week.
The custom Gaurav Gupta Chakric Drape Chain Gown was crafted from cascading silver chains, traditionally called ‘payals’, that surrounded her toned figure. She completed her look for the day with a metallic serpentine headpiece, contouring the face with cascading chains.
Apart from her unique ensemble and the stunning headpiece, what caught the audience’s attention was the rapper’s inverted nails. Yes! You read that right. Her nails featured an inverted version of a stiletto nail, with the nail bed at the top and the tip pointing inward rather than out.
According to People, Meghan, in a recent interaction with WWD ahead of the show, shared her reaction to finding out she’d be rocking inverted nails for the outing.
She said, “I was scratching my head, like, “What does that mean?” Put the nail on backward? And I didn’t notice the vision at first. But once I had the nails on my fingers, I said, “Yes!”
She added, “It’s giving 2025 but in 3035. That’s what the girls are going to be doing, so you’re seeing it here first.”
Apart from that, in a Get Ready With Me video, the singer joked about her nails being inverted and said,” “My nails are pointing at me because I love myself, quoted People.
Meanwhile, talking about her outfit, the crafting of the Chakric Drape Chain Gown was an advanced technique that required over 200 hours of meticulous artistry. A team of expert craftspeople collaborated to create the ideal sheer ensemble.
Sharing a string of pictures of her recent look from the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week 2025 on Instagram, Meghan wrote in the caption, “Chakras aligned in@gauravguptaofficial.”
However, this is not the first time Meghan opted for Gaurav Gupta’s collection. Earlier, the diva made head turns in the designer’s couture at the Oscars 2022.
