Kate Middleton and Duchess Sophie have emerged as key players in the royal family as the two royal women gained the approval of the public.
The Princess of Wales, who has been known to making statement via her sartorial choices, appears to be influencing the Duchess of Edinburgh as she receives more responsibilities from the Palace to represent King Charles.
Sophie is currently on tour in Nepal with husband Prince Edward to deliver an important message of the monarch to his subjects.
Meanwhile, Kate has been given the honour of granting royal warrants for the first time in century as Princess of Wales.
As the two women effortlessly take on royal duties, Kate Moss-Jones, a style consultant told MailOnline that both of them are well-versed in the “language of clothes” as they adhere to royal protocol.
“I like to think of Kate and Sophie supporting each other with their style and outfit ideas, as we know they are close, and this is often reflected in what they wear,” the stylist explained.
She noted that despite having different skin tones, “their style personalities are aligned, which is why they look great in similar outfits”.
“They both suit ‘classic’ styles that are timeless and elegant, but with slight variations,” she continued.
For the Duchess of Edinburgh, the stylish noted she “tends to incorporate feminine touches, such as puffed sleeves and fluid fabrics, to complement her softer body architecture.”
Whereas, Kate “prefers a more structured finish, which flatters her more angular architecture and wonderful shape.”
She added, “It’s fascinating to see Sophie taking inspiration from Kate and vice versa.”
The update also comes after reports emerged that Kate is enforcing change in the Palace which seems to be causing a stir.
According to Palace sources, Kate has been pushing the royal to cut back on the pomp and circumstance, and especially hold back on the big renovation projects lined up in the coming years.
However, given the close bond between the Waleses and the Edinburghs, Kate has the support of Duchess Sophie in her endeavours.
