Deepika Padukone attended Cartier’s High Jewellery showcase to celebrate the brand’s 25th Anniversary in UAE.
Deepika Padukone became Cartier’s High Jewellery Global Ambassador in 2022 and since then the global star has been making a statement in the brand’s iconic pieces. “An exquisite evening with my friends at @cartier,” expressed Deepika Padukone, on Instagram.
To commemorate Cartier’s 25th anniversary in the UAE and the Cartier High Jewellery ‘A Journey of Wonders’ Exhibition at Al Shindagha Museum, Dubai, Deepika Padukone graced the celebrations in Dubai in one of Cartier’s high jewellery necklaces from the Nature Sauvage collection.
Deepika adorned the Chryseis necklace that reveals a new perspective of the Cartier Fauna. The celebration of a vibrant palette with naturalist undertones, revisits the emblematic red, green and black trio that is symbolic of the Maison.
Did you know butterflies have always been one of the maison’s favourite insects? Deepika’s necklace featured black-and-white patterns of the butterfly wings used by the jewellers to capture the essence of the insect. The black and white played the perfect contrast with the freshness of the chalcedony beads and the pendant that was set off by a 63.76 carat rubellite.
Styled by celebrity fashion stylist Shaleena Nathani, Deepika Padukone paired the timeless masterpiece with a custom gown designed by Jade by Monica and Karishma. The voluminous black sweetheart off the shoulder puff sleeve gown with ruffle detailing played the perfect canvas to highlight the opulent necklace.
An epitome of glamour and grace, Deepika’s glam was breathtaking. The iconic smokey eye and the fresh, sun-kissed makeup highlighted Deepika’s eternal beauty. Deepika’s hair was styled in a sleek, chic bun and was accessorised with a black ribbon. Deepika’s makeup and hair was done by celebrity makeup artist Anil C and celebrity hair stylist Gabriel Georgiou, respectively. Every element in Deepika’s style celebrates the icon that she is and her team ensures they capture her every essence with love.
Capturing Deepika’s captivating aura against the dramatic skies in Dubai was photographer Vaishnav Praveen. At the Cartier event, Deepika Padukone looked like royalty when she was escorted on the runway by two models dressed in Cartier’s iconic red bellboy uniforms.
The Cartier High Jewellery ‘A Journey of Wonders’ Exhibition at Al Shindagha Museum, Dubai will open its doors to the public on February 16 and 17, 2025.
