It’s Thursday which means it’s time to check into the Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands for The Traitors. And one of this season’s breakout stars, Gabby Windey, just added a little bonus for our prize pot this week by spilling some insider tea.

In a new interview with The Cut, the Bachelorette alumna opened up about being underestimated on the hit Peacock show, hosted by the king of theme dressing Alan Cummings. In one particular scene, cast mate and traitor, Danielle Reyes, said that all Windey had done so far on the show as “look cute.”
“I’m always an underdog,” Windey said. “I was an underdog on Bachelor, too. People underestimate me, but there’s a lot going on upstairs.”
Windey, who later came out as lesbian following her time on the ABC dating show and is now dating comedian Robby Hoffman, noted that The Traitors house was “such a microcosm of society.”

“I was always fighting with the men,” Windey said. “I forget, because I literally interact with no men,” she added. “My manager and my dad are the only men in my life. So I forget that this is what it’s like.”

Windey also revealed that she had initially turned down the offer to appear on the show, but she was approached again after the series took home it’s first Emmy, and agreed to it. She did inquire about who else would be starring alongside her this season, though they wouldn’t reveal that information to her. “They won’t tell you who’s on the cast,” she explained. “That’s something I’m learning with events I go to: I want to know the guest list. Make it worth my while.”
Although names weren’t shared with her ahead of time, season 3’s cast might be the most stacked yet with stars like Zac Efron’s brother Dylan Efron, Britney Spears’s ex-husband Sam Asghari, Vanderpump Rules villain Tom Sandoval, professional wrestler Nikki Bella, as well as Survivor and Big Brother legends including Boston Rob (Rob Mariano), Reyes, Carolyn Wiger, and more. The Traitors Season 3 airs every Thursday at 9 p.m. on Peacock.
