Miley Cyrus has a new red carpet signature look. After attending the 2025 Grammy Awards in not one, but two black cutout dresses, the singer was at it again—this time, sporting a black leather version to the SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Friday.
For the occasion, Cyrus—who was one of the many performers of the evening—gave the cutout dress trend a Matrix-coded makeover. Wearing a black leather Roberto Cavalli gown that showed off her tattoos, Cyrus’s dress featured sheer mesh panels that were positioned in between leather strips of fabric that were laid in a wing-like pattern at both the neckline and hips. The floor-length dress also included a ruffled tulle train, adding a bit of romance to her tough-girl aesthetic.

Cyrus paired the gown with lace-up black sandals from Paris Texas and wore her blonde-highlighted hair down in tousled waves with a middle part. Meanwhile, a nude lip, smoky eye makeup, and lightened brows completed her glam.

She was joined on the red carpet by her mom, Tish Cyrus, and her bofyriend of three years, Maxx Morando. Both opted for all-black outfits that matched the “Party in the USA” singer’s edgy ensemble, with Tish wearing a leather pantsuit with a lacy bustier underneath and Maxx in a Prada tracksuit.
Once she got on stage to perform her hit song “Flowers,” Cyrus changed into a second Cavalli look. Her halter-neck dress featured a series of black leather diamond-shaped pieces of fabric with see-through bands in between, before flowing into a feather-trimmed ankle-length midi skirt. She added a pair of diamond hoop earrings and a new set of strappy black heels.
