The Seiko Alpinist GMT SPB493J timepiece has been debuted by the Japanese watchmaker as an elegant accessory that takes on an unexpected inspiration. The watch measures in with a 39.5mm case, which is crafted out of stainless steel and accented by hands covered in PVD gold to give it a touch of glimmer. The watch is paired with a textured dial that, in combination with the warmly hued hands, will call to mind the look and texture of the tropical hornbill bird.
The Seiko Alpinist GMT SPB493J timepiece is powered by the Seiko 6R54 automatic GMT movement and is priced at $1,650. The watch is only available for customers in Asia to pick up, but is limited to 500 examples.
