The demand seems to be incredibly high as major resorts and hotels in the region are fully booked until October-November 2025.
Local tourism entrepreneur Rahul Rawat told Local18 that the allure of Corbett’s resorts, nestled amidst nature’s beauty, is attracting couples. In the 2024 wedding season, over 1,000 weddings took place here, generating an estimated revenue of more than Rs 800 crore. This upward trend benefits not only hotel and resort owners but also ancillary businesses such as florists, caterers, and event management companies.
The popularity of Jim Corbett Park and Ramnagar as a destination wedding location has now transcended borders, attracting foreigners and non-resident Indians (NRIs) seeking a unique and memorable wedding experience. Many NRIs are choosing this picturesque location for their own weddings or those of their relatives and friends.
With over 200 resorts in and around Ramnagar and Jim Corbett Park, many are almost fully booked for peak seasons, including October-November and April of the following year. Destination wedding packages at these resorts and hotels range from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 90 lakh, catering to a wide range of budgets from middle-class to affluent families.
