Our hearts skipped a beat when Sabato De Sarno brought Daria Werbowy out of retirement back in 2023, for the Gucci Marina Chain jewelry campaign. After all, the iconic Polish-born Canadian-Ukrainian beauty had not been seen on the fashion circuit since 2016. However, since the Gucci gig, it has practically been radio silence from Daria (except for the odd appearance for Phoebe Philo’s eponymous fashion label) – until now. Pieter Mulier brings Daria Werbowy even further out of retirement, enlisting the fashion icon for the Alaïa Winter/Spring 2025 campaign. The Alaïa creative director called upon Tyrone Lebon to profile the industry favorite, shot on location in Miami. Werbowy now ranks alongside the likes of Kaia Gerber, Gisele Bündchen, Loli Bahia, and Fei Fei Sun as the face of Mulier’s Alaïa.
