Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani’s wedding celebrations are making headlines in the fashion circle. The couple hosted a mehendi function that included guests like Karishma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jaya Bachchan on Wednesday, February 20 in Mumbai. While the festivities were star-studded, Neetu Kapoor’s outfit grabbed everyone’s attention. She was wearing a gorgeous embroidered suit set in black and green shades.
There’s no doubt she looked effortlessly beautiful in the ensemble, but it didn’t take long for the internet to find inspiration from Nita Ambani’s similar outfit in 2015. The actress wore an identical outfit to Ambani’s, prompting fans to compare the two beauties.
The kurta set that Nita Ambani and Neetu Kapoor wore was designed by the clothing line of designer Anuradha Vakil. The black kurta has a loose fit, side slits, quarter-length sleeves, and a split crew collar. She paired this beautiful ensemble with flared green palazzo trousers and completed with a dupatta in shades of green and black. The elaborate zardozi embroidery, gotta patti work, gold marodi work and sequin embellishments give the ensemble a sophisticated look, while lace embroidery on the trims provides a royal touch.

Nita Ambani let the dupatta fall elegantly from one shoulder and draped it on the other arm, while Neetu pleated it and wore it over her shoulder. Neetu selected an antique Chanel gold purse, matching ear studs, rings, a Kundan necklace, and adorned heels as her accessories. Meanwhile, Nita selected identical kadhas and emerald and diamond earrings.
Taking about Neetu’s makeup, she went for a glam look with feathery brows, kohl-lined eyes, mauve lips, and flushed cheeks. Her hair was well-groomed and left free in a side parting. Last but not least, Nita wore her hair loose in a side part and opted for makeup that included kohl-lined eyes, darker brows, pink lips, a green bindi, and flushed cheeks.
For those who don’t know, Akash Ambani, the son of Nita Ambani, and Ranbir Kapoor, the son of Neetu Kapoor, are best buddies and often spend time together.
