Lady Gaga is in merry old England and treating every moment like her own personal runway—and thanks to the upcoming release of Joker: Folie à Deux on October 4, fans are getting a major dose of main character energy in addition to the superstar’s usual fashion serves. After mashing up her iconic “Bad Romance” look with a touch of Harley Quinn earlier in the day for the red carpet, Gaga reemerged at a second event wearing a much more literal take on Quinn’s iconic look.
Swapping out her scarlet Celine for a pair of checkerboard-patterned black-and-white tights and a striped dress, Gaga’s second OOTD leaned more toward costume than couture, though her masterful blurring of those lines included swapping. her hair, too, opting for a shaggy cut while still maintaining the same red-black ombré from earlier in the day. Her dress featured a playful babydoll silhouette, prim-and-proper collar and button-up detailing, and dizzying stripes.
Puffy sleeves were one more sweet detail and she finished the look with a pair of sky-high platforms with Mary Jane straps. She appeared to have the same makeup look as she did at the premiere, keeping her bejeweled tear and graphic powder-blue and black graphic eyeshadow.
Gaga was joined once again by her fiancé, Michael Polansky.
Yesterday, Gaga announced that she was releasing a new album, Harlequin, to accompany the film. According to CNN, it’s set to hit streamers on September 27 with 13 tracks, including “Good Morning,” “World on a String,” and “The Joker.” Gaga also shared that the new release would not be her highly anticipated seventh studio album, colloquially referred to as LG7. Instead, she teased Harlequin with billboards emblazoned with the nickname LG6.5.
