Good news: The much-anticipated Girl Scout Cookie season starts now and runs through April, so you have plenty of time to stock your pantry with your favorite boxes. Bad news: This is your last chance to get your hands on a couple of staple flavors.
Here’s what to know about the 2025 Girl Scout Cookie lineup, including the flavors you can expect this year, what’s being discontinued, and how to buy your boxes online while still supporting local Girl Scouts troops.
Discontinued Girl Scout Cookies
Girl Scouts announced they’re discontinuing S’mores and Toast-Yay following the 2025 selling season. While the organization didn’t expand on the reasoning behind the decision, it’s possible that the shortage of Girl Scout cookies and supply issues in 2023 may have influenced the updated lineup.
S’mores features a classic graham cracker, marshmallow, and chocolate flavor, and troops introduced it in 2017. The Toast-Yay cookie is meant to taste like French toast dipped in icing, and it’s even shaped like a cute mini piece of toast. It launched during the 2021 cookie season.

Don’t panic: Classics like Tagalongs and Thin Mints aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. You can buy these and newer options, like the popular Lemon-Ups or the gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chip, online and locally for the next few months.

Where to Buy Girl Scout Cookies
If the soon-to-be discontinued flavors are among your favorites, you still have time to stock up before the cookies are gone for good, depending on your location. Use the Girl Scout’s official cookie finder to shop at a local booth or text COOKIES to 59618 for updates.
You can also contact any Girl Scout you know for an individual Digital Cookie online sales link. If you don’t have any connections or can’t make it to a booth, you can buy cookies online from their personal website starting February 21.
Also, before you opt for knock-offs, Girl Scouts reminds potential customers that your purchase with them makes a meaningful difference.
“Each box of cookies sold allows Girl Scouts to develop an inextinguishable entrepreneurial spirit, gaining courage, confidence, and character as they conquer new feats and embark on new adventures,” reads a press release from the company.
