Jennifer Lopez delighted fans with a surprise recreation of her iconic ‘Waiting For Tonight’ music video during the New Year’s celebration. Over 25 years after the original video’s release, she brought back some nostalgic elements like green laser lights and a rainforest backdrop. As she rang in the New Year with friends, JLo danced and waved large leaves around, echoing her famous moves from the video. Her outfit, however, was a bold departure from the original — she wore a shiny, skin-hugging green dress with a plunging neckline.
Jennifer Lopez looked radiant as she danced, her flowing hair adding to the elegance of the moment. Keeping her accessories minimal, she wore a solitaire ring and matching earrings that perfectly complemented her ensemble. Her makeup was flawless, showcasing a bronzed complexion, highlighted cheeks, and smoky eyes.
Taking to Instagram, Jennifer Lopez just wrote, “Waiting For Tonight, 2025.”
Jennifer Lopez rang in the holiday season in Aspen, Colorado, with her twins, Emme and Max, and her sister, Lynda Lopez. Throughout 2024, her highly publicized divorce from Ben Affleck continued to capture media attention. Despite the challenges, Lopez is now embracing a new chapter. In a conversation with comedian Nikki Glaser for Interview magazine, she opened up about the experience of being single and shared her hopeful outlook for the future.
JLo said, “I’m not looking for anybody, because every thing that I’ve done over the past 25, 30 years, being in these different challenging situations, what can I do when it’s just me flying on my own? What if I’m just free? For people who are romantics and love being in relationships and want to grow old with somebody, we think, ‘I have to have that to be whole and happy.’ And you don’t.”
“That doesn’t mean it didn’t almost take me out for good. It almost did. But now, on the other side of it, I think to myself, ‘F***, that is exactly what I needed. Thank you, god. I’m sorry it took me so long. I’m sorry that you had to do this to me so many times. I should have learned it two or three times ago. I get it. You had to hit me really hard over the head with a fucking sledgehammer. You dropped the house on me. Don’t have to do it again’,” Jennifer Lopez added.
JLo is yet to announce her upcoming projects, In 2024, she appeared in Atlas and Unstoppable.
