The Highland Park 56 Year Single Malt has been unveiled by the distillery as its latest expression that will provide discerning drinkers alike with the perfect option to try out, if they can afford it. The spirit is reported to have notes of citrus, orange peel, lilac, jasmine, sweet raisins, honey and peat smoke, which combine to create a truly distinct flavor experience. The spirit is packaged inside a bottle created in collaboration between John Galvin and Michael Rudak that pays homage to the Standing Stones of Stenness.
The Highland Park 56 Year Single Malt comes in with a 47.1% ABV, is limited to 170 bottles and is priced at £40,000. This puts it in at $3,000 more than the distillery’s previous 54 year Old expression.
