Prince William and Kate Middleton are said to be preparing for a big surprise to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
According to a new report, senior royals will be sent to “reinforce the special relationship” between the UK and US. However, the identity of the visiting royals remains uncertain.
Experts have questioned who will make the first trip Stateside and when it is likely to happen.
Speaking to The Mirror, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond explained: “Soft power is one of the great strengths of the monarchy. Donald Trump is a man who appears to be hugely flattered by attention from royalty.”
Referring to Prince William’s visit back in November to Paris to mark the re-opening of the Notre Dame where he met Trump, Jennie adds: “William has already gone down well with the President, but Trump would probably now hope for a visit by the King.”
There are speculations that future King William and his wife Princess Kate could visit the US on behalf of the King. If the Prince and Princess of Wales travel to the country where Harry and Meghan are enjoying life with their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, it could be a bombshell surprise for the Sussexes.
The special bond between the two countries is very strong, and the relationship between King Charles III and Donald Trump is expected to further strengthen ties.
