What Ranveer Allahbadia said on ‘India’s Got Latent’, has stirred controversy in the entire country. Popularly known as ‘TheBeerBiceps’ on social media Ranveer Allahbadia has an illustrious career; from being a social media sensation to being honored by PM Modi for being the Disruptor of the Year, he is considered to be one of the most popular content creators in the country.
A few years before he had caught everyone’s attention for his impressive weight loss. Ranveer had dropped to 67 kilos from 90 kilos. Here’s what he did differently to lose this massive weight.
Ranveer Allahbadia’s weight loss journey
Ranveer began his fitness journey with weight training and solely focused on building muscle rather than excessive cardio. In his first year, he dropped from 90 kilos to 67 kilos over a couple of years. Later, he decided to bulk back up to 90 kilos when he got into powerlifting, as carrying extra weight helped him lift heavier. He stayed on the chubbier side until his final year of engineering, when he committed to getting ripped and cut down to 70 kilos in his last semester.
His workout mostly comprised deadlift, squat and bench press.
His diet consists of high protein food like chicken, egg and lots of vegetarian food. His food is mostly wheat based and prefers to have a clean diet.
A vegetarian diet follower, Ranveer avoids processed foods and sugar to keep his weight on track.
