Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making headlines with their presence in Canada as they opened the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver on February 8.
The Duke of Sussex, who established the event in 2014 and remains a patron of the Games, raised eyebrows with his and Meghan Markle’s stunts during the games, fueling speculation about their projects.
Harry’s Invictus Games Foundation was forced to announce that it has partnered with the British-based media company as the official UK broadcaster at the end of January.
It announced that nine daily highlight shows will be available on ITVX throughout the games.
The bombshell announcement comes hours after Kate, Princess of Wales, made surprising appearance to meet mothers who gave birth to babies in the prison.
ITV also turned to social media to reveal: “Hi there. Our coverage for the Invictus Games was limited to showing only the highlights of the event. Due to coordination with the production team of the games and varying local time zones, there was a delay in making the highlights available on our service.”
“Just to let you know, sadly, the rest of the episodes may also be delayed in coming to our service due to the time zones. This is something out of our control.”
Highlights of the first three days of the Invictus Games are now available to stream on ITVX. However, the opening ceremony, featuring performances from Chris Martin and Katy Perry, has yet to be uploaded.
“This exciting collaboration will bring the inspirational stories and extraordinary athleticism of the Games to audiences across the UK, celebrating the resilience and determination of wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans,” The Foundation previously stated.
