Home Alone famed Macaulay Culkin and his partner Brenda Song had a few amazing commonalities that strengthened their bond over the years.
Brenda, who started off as a child model at the age of six and eventually found fame in the 2000s after starring in Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, have been together ever since 2017.
She admitted that by the time she met Culkin they both were able to understand each other’s struggles that curtailed from the early years of career.
Not just that, they even share similar childhood trauma due to which they bonded quite well.
While addressing her relationship with Macaulay, the 36-year-old told at the Sibling Revelry podcast, “It wasn’t one of the first things we connected on, but I think there was this unspoken understanding that we’ve had certain trauma that we both share that we didn’t even quite realize stems from us being child actors.
“Certain anxieties or stressors or even triggers that you don’t realize. You don’t realize as a kid, how much that affects you as an adult”, she concluded.
The 44-year-old actor also started off his career very young and he was known to be the biggest child star of the 90s after he featured in the first Home Alone.
Culkin and Song share a son named Carson Song Culkin.
