On of our favorite restaurants, Cracker Barrel, has a new menu just in time for spring. Whether you like savory or sweet items, this menu has something for everyone. The new dishes include the Louisiana-Style Shrimp Skillet, Onion Petals with Country Comeback Sauce, and the dreamy sounding Pancake Latte, just to name a few.
While there are several sweet treats being added to the menu, there is one specific savory and very Southern item that has really drawn our attention.
According to Cracker Barrel, their new Shrimp n’ Grits, features “tender shrimp simmered in a savory and zesty creole sauce with Andouille sausage, sweet onions, celery and red peppers served over rich n’ creamy “dinner-style” grits, accompanied by grilled parmesan sourdough bread.”

Sounds, divine, right? And remember, this dish is exclusively available as part of Cracker Barrel’s iconic all day breakfast menu for a limited time ONLY. So, get it while it’s hot and fresh off the grill.
In a press release, Sarah Moore, Chief Marketing Officer for Cracker Barrel spoke about the new lineup and why it’s going to be a hit for their customers. She said, “Our spring menu lineup is just as bold and savory as it is sweet and indulgent. Our new Creole Shrimp skillets appease guests with an appetite for fresh flavors and zest this season; for those wanting something a bit more indulgent, our new OREO® Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes, a new twist on our staple Strawberry Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes, are sure to delight.”
So, what else is on this highly anticipated new menu? Cracker Barrel will also be serving up Strawberry Icebox Pie and Strawberry Peach Lemonade,
